Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This study unit revolves around the best practiced and most commonly used EFL methodologies, theories and techniques as well a list of very fun and useful language learning games and examples. The methodologies highlighted in this section that appeal most to me are; Grammar-translation :The man principle is finding of equivalents in the students own language. PPP : Presentation of context and explanation with demonstration thereafter students practice and production of language follows. The Lexical approach: Emphasis is placed on words and phrases not grammar. The reason these methodologies and techniques appeal to me is because they are the most used in my history of learning new languages at school where the Lexical approach was especially prevalent in SetSwana and the PPP and Grammar-translation techniques in Afrikaans. According to the Study unit the ESA Method is the most effective and logical method of those listed and discussed in the unit. I have come to agree with this statement. I am fond of the modern approach it has to engaging learners of all levels with creativity and fun rather then repetition, tediousness and stress of grades and performance. Study phase games and activation phase games provide you with a very powerful tool to keep your students minds active and occupied. Something I have found difficult the younger the learner is. In conclusion I agree that the ESA stage is best suited for learning a new language in a very fun and interactive way which is becoming an essential part of modern society and I learned that proper correcting techniques and feedback are critical skills to have to ensure that your students always remain positive and constructive in their study of the English language.
