I have learned a lot about different tenses. I have been able to explain to students why to choose one tense over the other (without having to fall back on “just because”). I have also had an opportunity to practice creating lesson plans. This has been one of my weaknesses, which I feel I have strengthened over this course. Also, I have learned different strategies for controlling students and conducting interesting activities. I have already started using some vocabulary teaching strategies in some of my current classes.
