English Grammar -- Present Simple -- Forming Questions -- Teaching English Second Language

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

I can comfortably distinguish between authentic and created materials and know where each of these can be used effectively in the classroom. I can now analyze a course book and use it to the pupils advantage. I have learned about different styles like the Boomerang style.I learned what I do not want to be as a teacher from the first video. I actually felt bad for the students. The second video, he reminded me of my favorite Spanish teacher when I was in school. Class was always fun and creative while I was learning a lot at the same time.It is important to understand that these materials are tools to elicit participation and allow for connections to be made in the learner's understanding as they connect familiar subject matter with the new language. These materials are not the sole content of the lessons.
