English Grammar - Present Continuous - Teaching Ideas

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

To give placement test is not common thing to do amongst English Training Centre here. We encourage to the students to take it first so that they can know which level they are in. After the course, we give out evaluating test sheet to the students. We need their feedback. This unit has a lot to remember. Many different tenses, learning how and when to use them. These tenses are very important to understand and having the knowledge to teach them. I need to study this unit more in order to be able to teach them without confusing my students. What I feel I have learnt from this unit is understanding there are different levels of teaching, not just for age, but for their strength in the language. Also, that there are many different styles of learning that are appropriate for different situations in a classroom.
