English Grammar - Future continuous - Teaching Ideas - ESOL

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit covers employment issues, including job searching, interviews, resumes and cultural issues. I found this unit to be one of the least useful as it was a duplicate of what was covered in the TEFL course. There was very little that was Business English specific.I learned a lot from this lesson as a matter of fact. Initially, it was a little confusing but nothing that reading the lesson a few times could not solve. The phonemic alphabet is going to make things so much easier now that I am aware of what it is and how to use it.Lesson 3 was good to get the basic concepts of teaching/learning methods. I like the concept of the, ESA, Engage/Study/Activate modal. This seems to be a good method of teaching and learning. It was also good to know when and how to make corrections. A very good study!
