Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This last unit looks at some of the most common problem situations that teachers can encounter in class and suggestions on how we can deal with them. These situations are the first lessons of new teaching positions, warmers to start the class with, students who are at different levels in the same class, large classes, the use of native language for EFL classes, reluctant students and students facing difficulties with listening texts. I don't think the list is non-exhaustive but this seems to be the general situations that teachers will commonly face. This was a thoughtful unit as it forced me to reflect on my current practices in class. Although what is said may seem like it is a repeat reflection of a previous unit, it is not. This unit focuses on the way I have been teaching in class and what I need to improve on as an EFL teacher. Previous units of this ITTT course covers the approach of an EFL teacher in communicating with an individual student. Upon reflection, unfortunately, I have made some of the mistakes mentioned in the unit. It is my duty as an educator to constantly reflect on how I conduct my classes and modify them to provide a stimulating environment in class. For example, I have not been including warmers in my classes, therefore, this is something that I can implement to make a change so that my lessons will improve in quality. As with previous units, unit 20 serves as a reminder to me to be conscious and aware of how I conduct lessons and how the students are responding to me. By constant reflection, this will provide the opportunity for these students to love the language as much as I love them and retain useful knowledge that will come in handy for the future.
