This unit has taught me that there are a variety of teaching approaches just like the classroom will be made up of a variety of students. It is important to remember one is not constricted to one approach of teaching. One may use a combination of controller, prompter, and facilitator all during one class period, keeping the students engaged during teacher talk time while also reducing it to keep them actively involved.
