To handle different types of classes is challenging and experiencing it is an opportunity to improve the teaching ability of a teacher. In my case, I would say that I am not familiar with handling a special group of students learning English. But after reading this unit, I’ve learned that knowing the types of classes is an important thing to put in mind so that a teacher would know what to do to support the needs of the students and how to respond or react appropriately without offending them. I have also learned that the treatment for a specific group differs from one another depends on their classification. The approaches should consider what group the students belong, ages, level, experiences and even their availability and backgrounds particularly for those who are working but want to learn English. Therefore, the teacher should be flexible in a way that she can be funny in the eyes of the young learners and professional in the eyes of the adult and always discipline so that she can cater all types of classes or special group.
