Pronunciation and Phonology are the most crucial part in mastering in English, because they make learners be conscious of what is being said. However, they are usually ignored, and are not taught properly in lectures. In my opinion, English learners can improve not only pronunciation, but also listening skills if they are aware of phonology. This part should be taught carefully, so that learners can figure out the English language by themselves without teachers in the future.
