The unit was an excellent review of the tenses. I have been a strong academic writer for some time now and although I utilize the tenses and can quickly assess when a sentence doesn't sound correct, before reading this lesson I would have struggled to explain why the sentence was incorrect and how it could be fixed. This unit reminded me of the important role contractions play in the way english is spoken and the frequency of our utilization of the tenses to describe our every day life.
