This unit presented a lot of information I hadn't really considered, such as the phonemic symbols. I appreciated the description of phonology being described as variations in volume and pitch that help us express emotion. I can see how that explanation could be easy for students to understand and fun for them to practice. The use of tongue twisters and non-sensical words are also activities I feel could be interesting ways to exercise and absorb this specific material.
