This unit discusses differences in lesson implementation between different groups and reasons for learning English. It is particularly important to be aware of the techniques and strategies specific to each group, as the needs of the students vary and the lessons must be planned accordiningly. For example, teaching children requires a slower pace than what would likely be utilized in a bussiness English class. Furthermore, assessing student needs is also different based on the group and a teacher may be able to personalize lessons more or less depending on each group.
