Unit 7 discussed teaching vocabulary, grammar and function to English language learners. The portion of the lesson that provided the most clarity to me was how in each section the needs of the student for that topic was detailed. For example, for students to learn and understand new vocabulary students must know meaning, how to use it, where it belongs in a sentence, spelling, and pronunciation. These short lists make it easy to confirm that the lesson is meeting a students needs.
