This week I learnt about receptive skills and how important they are. There were a variety of different ways we read. For example we can read for a purpose or for entertainment. There are also various skills we use when reading such as, predictive skills, scanning, skimming and looking for specific information. It is interesting to think of the various activities we can use in a lesson to incorporate the learning from this unit.
