The topic of Unit 9 was “Lesson Planning”. We learned that is important to have prepared lesson plan because it can help us to be more organized and have clear objects of what we would like students to learn during the class and how we can achieve it. Lesson planning also is very helpful in case that in any circumstances we cannot attend the class and another teacher should substitute us. When we are planning a lesson we should include the level of the class, the date, how many students we are expecting to attend, language point, teacher aids, learner objectives, teacher aims, anticipated problems for students and the teacher that might occur and their solutions and the procedure. When we are making the procedure of the lesson, we should include the phase of the lesson, the timing and the interaction for each activity. It would be very helpful if after the lesson we evaluate ourselves.
