The unit gives detailed explanations on the different types of teaching aids and how to best use them, as well as how not to use them. I found the unit helpful as some things I would not have thought like the video camera. Although I know that when I was younger I would not have been OK with someone recording me so making sure everyone is OK with being recorded first I think is best. If not then you can tell the class that they can record themselves then compare to so authentic material (providing they have a phone to do so). I also thought some things were out dated such as the cassette recorder but the idea of what they would do still works.
