Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

In this unit, I learned more about how to teach different groups of students with various needs using specific teaching methods/techniques. In teaching beginners, the teacher must be aware of the students' needs, be as visual as possible, give clear and simple instructions, encourage students to speak English as much as possible, etc. To motivate beginners, the teacher must not over-correct, create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, praise and encourage students, etc. For one-to-one classes, some suitable activities are reading short stories or articles from newspapers, answering quizzes, learning idioms, discussing relevant news items, pronunciation, etc. In teaching children, always use English as the language of instruction, speak slowly in short and direct sentences, don't put a child 'on the spot' as this would only increase their anxiety and lessen their learning capacity, play simple games, have a reward system, etc. For business English learners, I think it is not too important for the teacher to know the details of a student's profession beforehand but should take this as an opportunity to let the learner explain their work. In teaching monolingual and multilingual classes, the teacher can make it easier for the students to use English by keeping speaking activities short until the students have more confidence and increased fluency, making sure that the students have the English to do what you ask, monitoring more overtly, etc.
