Unit 19 covers the different groups of people an EFL teacher would teach. They are the beginners, individual students, children, adults in a Business English class and monolingual or multilingual classes. Each of these categories come with their own set of specific needs and challenges. The methodologies and techniques to go about teaching the different groups were also suggested. It is very helpful that things we should bear in mind was shared as some may be overlooked by us and these useful tips serve as valuable reminders. Finally, it is important that we adapt our lessons and approach to the different types of classes as it ensures the people learning English as a foreign language have an enjoyable time in class.
