It was really interesting to see the same lesson taught two different ways. In this unit, I watched two classes teaching the same grammar point, but the results of the class could not be more different. In the first lesson, the teacher was late, surly, and very critical of the students. The students were obviously uncomfortable and confused, and tried their best to complete all the activities the instructor gave them. The lesson was hard to watch, in my opinion, because it contradicted everything I have read thus far. The second lesson was very fun to watch, and it was very engaging. The teacher smiled and encouraged the students strongly. The points of the lesson were very clear, and the board work was also concise enough for students to copy in their notes. The overall feel of the second lesson was positive, and I learned a lot from watching it.
