Unit 20 focuses on certain issues that might arise in the classroom and what are the most appropriate and efficient ways to deal with them. This unit provides advice for working with students of different levels, larger groups, the problematic use of native language in the classroom, students who are reluctant to speaking and participating and finally, difficulties with listening texts. This unit also explains how a first lesson should take place, how to establish a rapport with the students and what activities to do in order for the class to get to know each other.
Unit 20 was extremely useful as there are issues mentioned that are sure to arise at some point in a teaching career, therefore it is essential to understand how to deal with these challenging situations in order for the students to successfully learn English.
