Parts of speech touches on the parts of speech which make up the English language. The unit drills further into nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and the lesser known, gerunds. From a personal point of view, having already taken 10 units, this unit has been by far the greatest eye-opener! As a mature student I can safely say this is all new to me ! As a native speaker all of these parts of speech simply happen naturally without a thought and without any conscious awareness. What a GREAT lesson! Incidentally, I happen to also be learning Russian and this lesson has already helped significantly in this regard!
