This unit focused on the different problems a teacher may encounter in the classroom and how to deal with them, for example the number of students in a class, different levels and reluctance to learn and participate, etc. I'm experienced when it comes to working with different number of students in a class, I personally prefer the larger classes of 40-60 students, they're a bit more difficult to manage behavior-wise but easier when it comes to group work, activities and game competitions. This large classes I've taught have been in primary schools so I've also had to deal with students having different levels of English, I've taken great tips from this unit to help me deal with that problem, like appointing group leaders and more pair/group work. I've tried avoiding too much group work because I've noticed they tend to speak more in their native language but now I can try different methods mentioned in this and other units in order to encourage speaking English while doing group work.
