Testing and evaluation of students is complex. Not only how to evaluate students, whether formally or informally, internally or externally but how to assess their understanding and their proficiency and ability to utilise the language they have learned. It is certainly dependant on multiple factors and there is the possibility that certain aspects maybe missed in certain types of tests. Since I commenced this course I have notice that while a lot of people understand the grammar, their ability to speak and create correct and functional sentences in conversation is not at the same level.
