This unit gave the most practical knowledge so far, as it allowed for a first hand look into the actual incorporation of the skills taught thus far. The difference between the first and second video is drastic. In the first video, the teacher seemed flustered and at times rude. He was discouraging by telling students they were wrong, and he did not explain directions. The teacher's actions led to a poor classroom environment, as students were intimidated and discouraged from participating. In the second video, the teacher explained activities clearly and encouraged students. He would compliment their efforts and utilized successful and engaging drills and activities. Clearly, the teacher's attitude and behavior affects student involvement and understanding.
