In this unit we look a little deeper at structuring a lesson. There are different methodologies, activities and learning approaches that can be used at various stages of the lesson like frame working, case studies, games, speech act theory, problem solving and total physical response. There are a number of case studies and lesson plans as well that give an idea as to how the class may be structured around a particular theme. I found it helpful to be reminded that no matter how interesting the activities and projects you come with at the end of the day they all have to unified in that they serve a language point and help the student attain certain objectives.
