This unit outlined how to deal with some potential trouble areas. It is important to build rapport between the students and teacher and amongst the students themselves. This can be done through get to know you games. Also, rather than jump right into a grammar lesson, take time to do a warm-up activity to get the students thinking in the language and having fun together and with the teacher. One potential problem is stronger and weaker students within the same class. By using the stronger students to help the weaker students, the stronger ones will not get bored, the weaker ones will likely be less frustrated, and this will help to build their relationships with one another as well.
