This unit served as a resource to learn about all the different types of test that can be utilized to gage the progress of students. It also gave useful information on english exams students may have interest in taking outside of the class to further their work and educational opportunities. This knowledge can add structure to the class and provide the teacher with lesson planning. It also can be helpful information to know in the event that the student's motivation for taking a class was to pass a certain examination.
