Unit 20 focused on potential challenges that may arise while teaching an ESL/EFL class. A lot of this unit was review as many of these sections were discussed in previous units. For example, previous units discussed establishing rapport within the classroom. Therefore, a lot of this unit served as review and reinforcement. I really appreciated having this review. However, the section on managing large classes was new. I learned that using group leaders is a great way to organize and control activities. In addition, it is very important to ensure that my voice and board work are readily accessible and understandable.
