There are so many resources available to us as teachers now. We have to be informed and prepared to use many different resources, some of which require training in order to be used successfully. When using electronic equipment we need to have a backup plan in case of failure. When using computers in the classroom, it is very important to make sure that the time spent does not allow students to become less verbal during class times. We also need to make sure that when showing a video in class, we use it as a resource to encourage discussion or introduce some new vocab, not just showing it for the purpose of filling time.
