Throughout my scholastic carrier, I have seen all of these methods used. Personally, I found white/chalk board and visuals best. This is because the taking of notes can easily keep pace with the teacher writing on the board and lecturing. OHP can be hit or miss. I had most teachers rush through slides and not allow us to completely get the material. The same thing would happen with slide shows; however, some teachers would provide access to a copy of the lecture, which was extremely helpful. Video always grabbed and kept my attention. CDs/cassettes were great to practice listen to natives with. I loved having a rewind option.
