In this unit we went over the types of classroom tools and aids a teacher and students could potentially have access to and how to use them effectively. The IWB (Interactive Whiteboard) for example could be an effective tool for the teacher, however they aren't always common in classrooms. A regular whiteboard is typically found in a classroom, though, and a teacher should know how to make the best use of it. Planning out diagrams and Lesson points to be drawn on the board should be done ahead of time as this will help the lesson flow more smoothly.There were also a plethora of online resources provided, such as dictionaries, ESL games, lesson ideas, poetry and literature resources, and media sites- all of which could be very useful in lesson planning.
