This was a good activity for a few reasons. One, I sometimes feel myself letting my personal feelings dictate the way that I run a classroom. I must ensure that I avoid my personal feelings dominate my teaching strategies. I also found the bit about using names at the end of a question rather enlightening. I will use this strategy to make sure my students never fall into a routine of switching off at the start of my questions. Finally, it was very good advice to ask colleagues for help and guidance when dealing with discipline. I must leave my pride outside, and do whatever I can to provide a great classroom experience for my students, as well as myself.
