This unit is important to help determine how to approach different levels of students. There are many different types of students we might have. From students to adults who are learning for their business. Each will need a different approach and style in teaching.
Children need more patience and fun in their lessons. While adults are more self motivated by either personal goals or requirements for their business. so it is important to understand what each student needs. If I am teaching students I will need to have a fun atmosphere with many games and tools to gain the students attention. Many younger students will not be in class because they want to and it will be difficult to motivate them to study. Adults may be easier to teach but more difficult to teach for their specific needs. Some will need to communicate in a business setting or for a trip abroad.
So, it is important to understand the needs of each student and how to structure your lesson accordingly.
