Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

The teaching ideas offered in this unit were very helpful in spicing up grammar topics that are often difficult to teach and learn. Here are some examples of conditional sentences: When students play games, the class is fun! If the teacher doesn't use games, the students will be unhappy. If the teacher used games, the students would be happy. If the teacher had used games yesterday, the students would have been happier that day. If the teacher hadn't used games, the students would be very unhappy today. There are many forms and uses! One interesting game this unit suggested was "chain conditionals" where one person starts with a sentence (If I am sick tomorrow, I will stay home), and people continue (If I stay home tomorrow, I will be sad. If I am sad, I will sleep. If I sleep, I will dream. If I dream, I will be scared.) Other activities the unit recommended are split sentences, complete the conditional, moral dilemmas, nuclear bunker role, and what would happen if. Some of these would probably be best for upper-intermediate students, but I would really like to try the chain one in class. It seems like a fun way to focus on form and use. This unit also covered direct and reported speech. This is really necessary to use because we often talk about what other people say. And we hear in the news and in movies what other people say. There was a helpful chart on grammar of reported speech, and also a graph showing how adverbs are used. Some useful activities recommended are intermediaries, reporting verbs and media interviews. I would really like to try using intermediaries in classes because it seems fast paced and interesting.
