This unit we learned about the different types of tests for students to take before during and after a language class and the different purposes they serve. I always knew that there were different types of tests like placement tests vs progress tests, but I had not realized that there were also small differences between placement tests and diagnostic tests. In some ways, it was confusing to determine the differences. I also learned about the different English language certifications and tests that are universally accepted.
