This unit covered the different conditionals and their differences, spanning from zero to first to second, third and mixed conditionals. It helped inspire with ideas on exercises that a teacher could have their students do to practice conditionals in different ways. Additionally, this unit covered report speech and direct speech and covered things like backshifting (when talking about time). For me, learning the conditionals was not difficult, but keeping up with the reported speech and direct speech was very confusing because it comes so naturally for me as a native speaker, but I must consider the perspective of those learning English as a second language.
