At the beginning this unit is all about the body language of a teacher. I can tell the eye contact, gestures and mime are very important when you teach young learners. For young lerners it is very important because the eye contact can help to maintain discipline in a classrom . As a rule teacher can use different gestures during ther lesson. For young learners they should be very clear and easy. As for the teacher`s voice it should not be very monotonous because students will be bored. When the teacher is using student`s name you should keep in mind that even student`s name can serve as an approach to teaching. Always use student`s name at the end of the question. One more very important thing about grouping of students during the lesson. It is very vital to group young students correctly because it may cause behaviour problems. Classroom arrangement is very important the best way to arrange big class is an orderly rows. As for the small training center classes the best way of arrangement is circles. Teacher can easily observe student`s work during the lesson. Teacher`s position is very important in a classroom . It really helps teacher properly present lesson material and observe student`s work during the lesson. Teacher can easily change position during one lesson. It depens on the type of the activity during the lesson. Writing on the board and TTT should be widely used during the lesson. Some language issues should be presented on the board. It concerns, for example , English tenses. The most important part of the lesson is TTT . TTT should be comprehansible. But TTT should not dominate. STT as a rule is the goal of oral lesson. When you give instruction to your student you`d better use simple language to avoid misunderstanding. For young learners it`s better to use real objects alongside with the flashcards. I think establisment of rapport and discipline issues are connected. If the there`s a lack of rapport within the classroom so there can be some discipline problems. But I think if teacher is able to make lesson interesting and lively so there will be no serious problems. This unit is great. Thank you ITTT!
