This unit is a basic review of how we can teach pronunciation in our classrooms. It gives a lot of useful charts that classify the sounds and stresses we make in every day language and helps us to explain to students who are not used to making these sounds in their native language. It also contains useful charts for decoding phonetic language code and diagrams showing the placement of the tongue, teeth, and jaw when uttering certain sounds. It gives teachers basic ideas on what activities might be helpful.
