In this unit I have learnt about using course books and material for classes. Course books are not always necessary and depends on the individual teacher and the group of students they are teaching. They may however be useful for a more inexperienced teacher as they provide tried and tested material. Also using authentic material and created material, a mixture of both would provide a good balance and broader spectrum for the students.
