This topic was very informative about different types of evaluation and also highlighted the importance of feedback. I think feedback is definitely important as it can keep the student engaged and motivated. The feedback also needs to be constructive and helpful in order to keep the student motivated. The evaluation is also important in order to monitor progress and see areas for improvements and areas in which the student is doing well. The placement and diagnostic tests are also quite important so the students can be taught at the correct level as if they are being taught above their level this will affect their ability to learn and their motivation.
