As with the last topic this topic was particularly interesting as it highlighted the importance of writing. I have found that many students are not as interested in this part and their main aim is to learn to communicate through speaking, however given the growing importance and use of technology such as email and whatsapp for example, it is important for the student to be able to write and communicate through writing and to be able to do this accurately. For this reason I found the topic about words spelt the same having different meanings and words that sound the same having different spellings to be particularly interesting and something that would need to be focussed on with the student.
