The most useful part of this unit was the online resources, as most teachers/ students have access to internet (though not everywhere in the world). What I found really useless, and it dates the material this course, is the mentioning of use of cassettes, and even more NOT useful is having a test question on cassette usage in teaching. I remember cassettes as a teenager, before the advent of the CD, DVD, and now finally an all digital format. While I would think that there are locations in the world that teachers teach ESL and may not have access to World Wide Web, but I cannot fathom a location that still uses cassettes/cassette recorders. Didn't they stop making those in the '90s?
