Unit 20 tells about troubleshooting, dealing with some difficult situations in the class, like first lesson and establishing rapport with the students; students with different level of English in one class, here the teacher can use different materials for the strong and weak groups, or use the same materials but different tasks, or pair stronger students with weaker ones. Large classes can present the teacher with a number of problems from trying to involve all pupils equally to classroom control. The teacher should not use the native language of the students in the classroom and ask/ remind them to speak English only.
