This unite gave me a lot of information and ways to teach in a classroom, gave me examples of how to run a lesson, taught me the role of the teacher and how a typical lesson should look like. I'd very much like to use all of the roles of a teacher and decide for myself what I feel comfortable with. I think all of the roles are very important and it helped me understand it also depends on what age group I am teaching and also, what English level my students are. In my opinion in 85% of the cases: if the teacher is doing a good job and has the qualities of a good teacher like written in the unite- (kind and patient, should love teaching, good subject knowledge etc ...) then the teacher can make the students good learners even if they came to class with no motivation because motivation is something you can sometimes create in a student.
This unit was very interesting to me because it divided the topics that I theoretically knew and gave it names and very close explanations which made me very excited to keep learning towards having a TEFL diploma!
