I definitely think speaking and writing skills are the hardest things to teach in the English language. There isn't a limit to the words one can obtain, and a student has to be able to learn new words and integrate them into their everyday vocabulary on their own. I think passing down the correct skills to use new vocabulary in speech and writing is essential, and would require a teacher to put in extra work.
