Many students are rather adverse to testing as it normally thought of as long hours of writing and fact-checking. However, with language, much of the testing can be done with a simple game that will allow the teacher to gauge the students' interest and ability. Other types of tests can be listening tests where the students listen to a dialogue or story and answer verbal or written questions. Students, however, must also be prepared for external tests which may be different than the tests that they are accustomed to taking.
