In this unit I learnt of the various conditionals including zero (used to refer to actions and facts that are irrefutable), first (used to talk about real situations that are possible), second (used to talk about present or future hypothetical situations), and finally third (which refer to hypothetical past actions with hypothetical results). I also learnt of changes in verb tense when going from direct to reported speach. These include past simpe to past perfect, present perfect to past perfect, and past continuous to past perfect continuous.
