This unit presented an in depth explanation of the concepts and techniques used in teaching stress, intonation, articulation and phonetic alphabets. A thorough understanding of the rules on the application of stress in a sentence, indication of intonation, concepts of articulation coupled with the diagrams, illustrations and IPA table afforded me an ample guide in teaching pronunciation.
