After watching the videos and comparing notes, I was wondering about other things the teacher could add to the lessons. I do not know about technology access in Thailand but perhaps an overhead projector might come in handy to help guide students. On the whiteboard, color-coding might have been more effective in lesson 1. Very little was done there. Also, the markers were old and difficult to see. I despised him pointing at students but I thought it was very culturally respectful in both videos that he took his shoes off. I loved his enthusiasm and energy in video 2. In the first, he really did not seem interested in the kids acquisition as he was texting, looking out the window and not monitoring students during the worksheet exercise. A little guidance goes a long way in my classroom. I loved the paired activity in video 2. It's one of my favorite activities.
