I really enjoyed studying this unit and discover the ESA method introduced by Harmer. In my opinion this approach takes lesson planning to the next level by improving the already known parts of the lesson (introduction, procedure, closure). It seems logical to me in every way since it is flexible, it adapts to all levels, it ensures maximum exposure to the target language and it gives the opportunity to Ss to analyze the new information and its form, but most importantly, it provides balance as it is not only focused on speaking no matter how or the practice of a language point trough out the lesson. I will from now on use it even when teaching French or Spanish.
